PT Arun Ngl in Lhokseumawe, has been in place since 26 December 2004, the day of earthquake and tsunami killed over 150,000 people in Aceh, to help aid and relief for those casualties through out Aceh which were affected by earthquake and tsunami. PT Arun has been operating three posts in command, at PT Arun Lhokseumawe as their head post, consecutively Banda Aceh at Ulee Kareng, and in Meulaboh.

The post in Banda Aceh was organized on the 3rd day, volunteered by almost all their employees who take sympathy and heartfelt for humanitarian. Also their wives hand in hand provided and delivered instant food "nasi", cloths, sarung and blankets and direct to the survivors.

At each post, many volunteers from outside Aceh attached themselves at our Post to do the holy aids.

PT Arun has been continuously mobilizing their transportation, trucks, heavy equipment and water trucks for this aids to deliver aids to all quake and tsunami affected regions to north coast and west coast, no matter they have to ride 16 hours through montaneus roads from Takengon to Betong - West Aceh. They work day and night to help starving and affected survivors.

Continuously supplying various foods, medicines, cloths, tents, corpse bags, doctors. Up to date, PT Arun is trusted by many agencies to distribute their donation and aids, such as Bukaka, Save the children, Nigata, ESQ institution, UFO, Qatar Indonesian employees, PT Badak, and others.

Hi IM from california USA I have been looking for a really good friend from samarang ( not sure if spelled right his name is Ari Ariwan Putra. We called him Andre. The Latest Indonesian Earthquake: West Sumatra

The quake struck late in the morning, at 1049 local time (0349 GMT), while many people were at work or school killing at least 70 people and injuring hundreds. The magnitude 6.3 quake struck on Sumatra island and was felt as far away as neighboring Malaysia and Singapore , where some tall buildings were evacuated. It was followed by several strong aftershocks. The U.S. Geological Survey said the tremor struck 20 miles below Solok . It was followed by several strong aftershocks, one measuring 6.0.
